Experienced Customer Service & Sales Representative – Industrial Supply Company

Job Description

As a Customer Service/Sales Representative at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining a positive relationship with our clients. To be successful in this role, you need to be highly organized and detail-oriented, an excellent time manager, and be able to handle high-volume calls and emails in a consistently friendly and efficient manner.

Main Job Duties:

* Manage and assign emails to ensure prompt and efficient communication with clients and vendors

  • Process invoices from suppliers and deliver customer invoices in a timely manner
  • Receive payments from customers and run credit card transactions with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Enter tracking numbers into arenaflex's ERP and eCommerce websites to ensure seamless order tracking
  • Manage high-volume phone calls from customers and vendors, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly
  • Provide verbal and email quotes to customers, ensuring that all quotes are accurate and meet their needs
  • Communicate with vendors to confirm price and availability, ensuring that orders are fulfilled efficiently
  • Process orders with vendors and confirm order acknowledgments to ensure that all orders are fulfilled correctly
  • Keep track of backorders and follow up with vendors and customers to provide accurate ship dates
  • Prepare and reconcile monthly payments to vendors, ensuring that all payments are accurate and on time
  • Keep track of past-due invoices and follow up with customers to ensure prompt payment

Essential Qualifications:

* 3+ years of experience in e-commerce, customer service, and sales

  • Excellent verbal, written, and typing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and vendors
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Proactive work ethic and communication, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Friendly and patient demeanor in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in eCommerce software and industrial equipment, supplies, filtration, or compressed air equipment a bonus
  • Ability to maintain confidential financial documentation and require minimal supervision to complete work and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in an industrial supply company or a similar industry

  • Knowledge of industrial equipment, supplies, filtration, or compressed air equipment
  • Experience with ERP and eCommerce software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Compensation and Benefits:
