If you don’t know what this is, it’s the compensation they get for disabilities sustained while they were serving in the US military. We are a startup of almost 100 people and are growing quickly.   • Review, organize, and process incoming digital documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare, verify, and submit required documentation through appropriate systems, including the Veterans Benefits Management System (VBMS).
  • Access, review, and manage digital case files within VBMS to support client claims and case progress.
  • Ensure all submissions meet regulatory requirements and firm standards prior to filing.
  • Draft legal documents, correspondence, and client communications as needed.
  • Maintain strict data integrity and confidentiality in compliance with VA regulations and firm policies.
  • Manage caseloads effectively to meet all client deadlines.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and attorneys to support case strategy and workflow efficiency.

Ideal Candidate: This role is similar to a loan processor at the final stage of the mortgage process, responsible for ensuring that applicants have provided all required documentation and that submissions are complete, accurate, and ready for review. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, confident in identifying missing or incomplete information, and committed to maintaining high quality standards. The successful candidate will be extremely organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently. Strong organizational and time management skills are essential, along with solid computer proficiency and the ability to navigate digital systems effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to clearly request information, provide updates, and collaborate with team members. Prior paralegal experience or similar is highly preferred and would be considered a significant asset in this role. Hours: We are looking for someone to join our team full-time, but the hours are somewhat flexible. We are a fully remote team primarily working in US time zones. You will be in close proximity to one of our co-founders for in-person tasks. Everything else will be handled remotely. You must live around the Odessa, FL area. Wahoo is the correct word.
