About the Role

We're looking for a highly organized and efficient bookkeeper with excellent communication skills to support our financial team. As a Part-Time Bookkeeper and Customer Correspondence Specialist, you'll be responsible for managing our financial transactions, responding to customer inquiries, and ensuring seamless communication with our clients. Key Responsibilities

- Send out reminders to clients who haven't made payments, ensuring timely follow-up and minimizing delays - Record payments in QuickBooks Online, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records - Escalate cases of non-payment to the relevant stakeholders, taking proactive steps to resolve issues and prevent further delays - Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner, providing clear and concise information to resolve their concerns - Collaborate with the financial team to ensure seamless communication and efficient financial operations

Initial Training and Onboarding

We'll provide comprehensive training and onboarding to ensure you're equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this role. This will include an initial period of 2-3 hours per day, within the US workday time zone, to familiarize you with our systems, processes, and procedures.

Essential Qualifications

- 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field - Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and other financial software - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong organizational and time management skills - Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in customer correspondence and customer service - Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations - Familiarity with cloud-based financial software and systems - Certification in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field (e.g., QuickBooks Certified User)

Skills and Competencies

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel - Familiarity with cloud-based collaboration tools and software
