Job Summary

We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Specialist to join our Scheduling Department on a full-time basis. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for handling and resolving email requests from clients and interpreters, managing inbound interpreter calls and inquiries, and ensuring the accurate maintenance of database information. Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Specialist in our Scheduling Department, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Handling and resolving email requests from clients and interpreters related to scheduling, as the first point of contact
  • Assisting in answering clients/interpreters calls, when needed
  • Efficiently inputting data and maintaining accurate database information
  • Managing all inbound interpreter calls and inquiries
  • Managing all inbound interpreter calls, emails, and securing interpreters to cover appointments
  • Managing all appointments for a dedicated client by meeting both arenaflex and client service levels for securing interpreters to the appointments
  • Other duties and responsibilities as requested by leads, Assistant Manager, or Scheduling Manager

Skills and Abilities

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and abilities:

  • The ability to handle stressful and challenging situations in a calm and professional manner while working with internal and external clients
  • Professional communication skills; verbal and written
  • Proficiency with standard software applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and familiarity with other web-based applications
  • Ability to excel in a demanding, dynamic, and team-based working environment

Experience Requirements

We're looking for a candidate with the following experience and skills:

  • 2 years of experience in customer service
  • 2 years of experience working in a fast-paced office environment
  • Exceptional data entry & accuracy skills
  • Professional verbal & written communication skills
  • Organized & motivated with excellent follow-through, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Ability to work independently while remaining an effective and efficient member of cross-functional teams
  • Ability to analyze problems and develop processes to alleviate problems
