Job Description

Career.zycto is actively seeking an innovative and results-driven YouTube Channel Manager to join our client's growing team. This is a fully remote opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home in Sheridan, Mississauga, and contribute to a global audience. As a YouTube Channel Manager, you will be the strategic mastermind behind the growth and optimization of our client's YouTube presence. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy, driving audience engagement, and maximizing watch time and subscriber growth across multiple channels. This role demands a creative thinker with a strong analytical mind, capable of translating data insights into actionable strategies. You will work closely with content creators, editors, and marketing teams to ensure a cohesive and compelling brand voice, while staying ahead of YouTube trends and algorithm changes. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive YouTube content strategy aligned with brand goals and audience interests.
• Manage the end-to-end publishing process, including scheduling, uploading, optimizing titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails.
• Perform in-depth YouTube SEO research and implement best practices to improve search ranking and discoverability.
• Analyze channel performance metrics (watch time, audience retention, CTR, demographics, etc.) using YouTube Analytics to identify trends and inform future content decisions.
• Engage with the YouTube community by monitoring comments, fostering discussions, and responding appropriately to build a loyal audience.
• Collaborate with content creators, video editors, and graphic designers to ensure high-quality, engaging content that adheres to brand guidelines.
• Stay updated on the latest YouTube algorithm changes, trends, features, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
• Develop and implement strategies for cross-promotion and audience acquisition across various digital platforms.
• Manage and optimize YouTube advertising campaigns, if applicable, to drive channel growth and content visibility.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of proven experience managing and growing successful YouTube channels.
• Expertise in YouTube Analytics and third-party analytical tools.
• Strong understanding of YouTube SEO, content optimization, and algorithm dynamics.
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) is a plus, but not mandatory for primary role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute data-driven strategies.
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
