Job Summary
We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Geographic Information Systems Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Geographic Data group, you'll be responsible for creating geographic data for assigned areas, developing PC-generated maps and reports, and providing administrative support to local Deal Makers. Key Responsibilities
* Create PC-generated maps, reports, tables, and charts for assigned areas using MapInfo as specified by local Deal Makers
- Process requests and inquiries directly from arenaflex Activities for market strategy guides and display materials
- Perform a variety of project-specific tasks, including research and analysis of data as assigned
- Provide administrative support to local Deal Makers by preparing accurate and timely cost reports, editing documents, booking travel, preparing visit books, and meeting other administrative needs as specified
- Perform general office duties, including answering incoming calls, receiving office visitors, mail handling and preparation, ensuring all office equipment is functioning properly, ensuring PCs are working accurately, recording, booking deliveries, and requesting office supplies
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in GIS or related field
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in geographic data systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with MapInfo
- Strong understanding of geographic data systems and analysis techniques
