Description The Medical Records Coordinator II plays a crucial role in the retrieval and management of retrospective medical records. This position encompasses claims data analysis, outreach data research, direct EMR retrieval, Requests of Information (ROI) deployment, pend-record resolution, medical record audits, attestation capture, and report documentation. Compensation and Benefits

  • Compensation range: (65,200.00 - )96,200.00
  • Pay rate: (25.00 - )40.00 hourly

Responsibilities

  • Execute the request, retrieval, and pend resolution of medical records
  • Utilize custom and SFTP portals for PHI data transfer
  • Collaborate with health systems and provider offices for release of information requests
  • Update operational databases and document processes
  • Navigate and escalate obstacles in medical record retrieval
  • Support and implement process improvements with partners
  • Verify retrieved medical records’ accuracy
  • Maintain medical record repository and manage provider relations
  • Populate chase specific reports for risk adjustment programs
  • Support implementation of risk adjustment processes
  • Research claims data for optimized chart retrieval
  • Reconcile retrieval-related invoices
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum one (1) year healthcare experience preferred
  • Minimum one (1) year medical records experience preferred
