Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced and highly motivated Chat Support Specialist to join our team as a Community Moderator. As a Community Moderator, you'll be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our Discord server by enforcing community guidelines, resolving conflicts, and providing exceptional customer support. This is a part-time, remote, and flexible position that offers the perfect blend of autonomy, flexibility, and opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Community Moderator, you'll be responsible for:
- Moderating the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring that all interactions adhere to our community guidelines and rules
- Deleting messages made by users that violate our community guidelines and rules
- Banning users who have multiple and repeat violations of our community guidelines and rules
- Muting users who have violated our community guidelines and rules
- Investigating reports made by users about violations of our community guidelines and rules
- Collaborating with our team to develop and implement effective community management strategies
- Providing exceptional customer support to users, addressing their concerns, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
Essential Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- To be at least 18 years old
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Familiarity with Discord and community management principles
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
