Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our members, answering their questions and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner. You will work from home, using your own computer and internet connection, and will be required to adhere to our telecommuting policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

* Answer inbound calls and respond to member inquiries about their healthcare plans, including medication coverage, prescription benefits, and mail-order prescriptions

  • Provide accurate and timely information to members, ensuring they have a clear understanding of their benefits and options
  • Resolve member issues and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, using your problem-solving skills and knowledge of our healthcare plans
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including our medical and pharmacy teams, to ensure members receive comprehensive support and guidance
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your knowledge and skills, and stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices

Essential Qualifications

* 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, such as a call center, retail, or hospitality industry

  • PC proficiency in Windows-based applications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred

Preferred Qualifications

* 2 years of experience in a healthcare-related field, such as medical billing or insurance

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments
  • Experience working in a call center or customer service environment, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices
