Remote Sr. Software Architect

In this role, you will establish and lead the software architectural vision and strategy for our engineering organization. Your expertise will drive the transformation of existing monolithic applications into a modern service-oriented architecture, while defining technical governance for scalable business operations. Accountabilities Establish and own the enterprise software architectural vision and long-term technology strategy. Lead the transformation from monolithic systems to a modern service-oriented architecture. Define and document comprehensive API strategies and integration patterns. Collaborate with the Platform engineering team on technical priorities and design decisions. Guide engineering teams in adopting new architectural patterns and improving code quality practices. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and migration plans. Establish software architectural governance and API contracts. Partner with IT and business leaders to align technical vision with business objectives. Evaluate and recommend modern technologies that support scalable and resilient architecture. Lead technical design sessions and mitigate risks in large-scale system transformations.

Proven track record in leading software architectural transformations in complex organizations. Expertise in service-oriented architecture, microservices patterns, and API design principles. Strong experience with modern data architecture and integration strategies. Exceptional communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
