Senior Social Content Strategist

Remote role Full-time Open position

Hi, we’re CompanyCam. We’re a simple-to-use photo documentation and productivity app for contractors of all commercial and home services industries. Packed with intuitive functionality, CompanyCam facilitates unparalleled communication and accountability across a contractor’s entire business. We’re committed to providing a consumer-grade, game-changing experience that helps our users build trust within their company and with their customers. But don’t let that corporate description fool you—the people behind our buttoned-up product are laid-back (but hardworking), genuine, and kickass, and you could be one of them! The Role We’re looking for a Senior Social Content Strategist to develop and execute high-performing social media content strategies that drive brand awareness, audience engagement, and measurable business results. In this role, you’ll lead content planning and production across channels, using data and audience insights to optimize performance and ensure alignment with broader marketing and communications goals. As a subject-matter expert, you’ll stay ahead of platform best practices, trends, and audience behavior while mentoring contributors to elevate content quality, consistency, and impact. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to ensure social content supports campaigns, launches, and brand storytelling in a cohesive way. Location: This is a remote position. You must live and work permanently in the U.S. to be considered.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and own a comprehensive social content strategy aligned to brand, campaign, and business goals
  • Plan and manage annual, quarterly, and monthly social content calendars across platforms
  • Create, edit, and approve high-quality written, visual, and short-form video content optimized for each channel
  • Partner with designers, videographers, and agencies to produce creative assets and templates
  • Repurpose long-form and campaign content into social-native formats
  • Oversee scheduling, publishing, and execution through social management tools
  • Define community engagement guidelines and oversee responses to comments, messages, and inquiries
  • Monitor audience sentiment and escalate sensitive or reputational issues when needed
  • Track, analyze, and report on content and campaign performance using defined KPIs
  • Use performance data to iterate on content strategy, creative formats, and posting cadence
  • Lead A/B testing of copy, creative, and formats and document learnings
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, PR, Product, Sales, and Creative teams on integrated campaigns
  • Manage content workflows, timelines, briefs, and approvals to meet launch dates
  • Coach and mentor junior content creators and contractors to improve quality and efficiency

The Impact You'll Have At CompanyCam, your work makes a real impact. Whether you're writing code, supporting customers, or designing experiences, your contributions directly shape the product we deliver and the people we serve. We're building something that helps real people solve real problems—and we believe that kind of work is best done by a team that reflects the world around us. In this role, you’ll drive impact by:

  • Strengthening CompanyCam’s brand presence and voice across social platforms
  • Increasing audience engagement and community loyalty through thoughtful, relevant content
  • Helping social content contribute meaningfully to campaign success and business outcomes
  • Establishing clear standards and consistency across social channels
  • Elevating the quality, efficiency, and impact of social content through mentorship and leadership

What You'll Bring Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of experience in social content strategy, social media management, or digital content roles with measurable results
  • Strong understanding of how social content supports engagement, brand, and business goals
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone for different platforms and audiences
  • Highly organized, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple timelines and stakeholders

Preferred

  • Advanced degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Professional certifications (e.g., Meta Blueprint, Google Analytics, HubSpot Content Marketing)
  • Experience with enterprise social management tools and cross-channel campaign execution
  • A continuous growth-mindset, with a focus on learning, embracing challenges, and continuously improving.
  • A knack for creativity and innovation, bringing fresh ideas to the table and solving complex problems.
