Key Responsibilities and Job Elements

As an Operations Manager at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for leading a team of hourly workforce, ensuring the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, empowering your team to excel in their roles.
  • Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises: Develop and implement strategies to maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, and productivity, while ensuring customer delivery promises are met.
  • Collaborate with all support teams: Work closely with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to develop plans that meet business objectives.
  • Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach: Meet the physical demands of the role, ensuring you're able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts: Be prepared to work long hours on your feet, maintaining a high level of energy and focus.
  • Work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud: Adapt to changing noise levels, ensuring your safety and well-being.
  • Work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather: Be prepared to work in a variety of conditions, from extreme temperatures to inclement weather.
  • Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs): Meet the physical demands of the role, ensuring you're able to work in a site with stairs.

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required for this role.

  • 2+ years of experience in Operations or a related field: Proven experience in Operations or a related field is essential for this role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills: The ability to lead and communicate effectively is critical for success in this role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment: The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing circumstances is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a related field: A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Operations Management or Business Administration, is preferred.

  • Experience in logistics or customer service: Experience in logistics or customer service is highly desirable.
