We're now seeking an experienced Distribution Center Manager to join our remote team on a full-time night shift basis, offering a competitive hourly rate of $30. About the Role: Driving Success in Distribution and Customer Satisfaction As a Distribution Center Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in leading a team of hourly partners to execute delivery and receipt of our beverages across the country. You'll be responsible for managing the order fulfillment process, ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about logistics, leadership, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Leading the Way to Distribution Excellence Audit client orders at the warehouse/office using data on hardware capability and ability to ensure proper resource usage, providing feedback to the party responsible for placing the order. Furnish direct reports with authority, direction, and coaching to achieve work targets and improve performance and skills. Investigate office operations to ensure adherence to safety and working procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) using Company policies and techniques. Oversee plant or warehouse metrics to minimize costs and optimize efficiency. Evaluate and measure the performance of external service providers using appropriate performance metrics. Co-lead the development and maintenance of warehousing methods/processes within the Logistics Program to improve operational effectiveness. Create and execute process improvement projects and initiatives to drive functional effectiveness within the CDC. Manage departmental costs and annual field-tested strategy targets, goals, and objectives. Support Stock Control Capabilities by ensuring that movements of every kind are performed to meet requirements. Ensure that correct safety procedures are followed in the handling of packaging materials, ingredients, finished product, shipments, and general cargo movement. Essential Qualifications: The Skills and Experience We're Looking For To succeed in this role, you'll need: A four-year college education or equivalent work experience. 3+ years of warehouse/stock experience. Experience managing people/budgets, with 2+ years supervising warehouse/stock staff preferred. PC and database application skills, with strong working knowledge of SAP. Knowledge of stock administration frameworks. Ability to work a manual/powered bed jack or lift item. Forklift certification is required upon starting work. Strong relational skills, with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Ability to show up on Saturday or Sunday, holidays, and overtime if necessary to support business needs. Preferred Qualifications: The Skills That Will Set You Apart While not essential, the following qualifications will be considered a plus: Experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment. Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety procedures. Experience with process improvement initiatives.
