Job Summary

As a Patient Care Advocate at arenaflex, you'll be the first point of contact for patients, responding to phone inquiries and addressing their concerns with care, detail, and empathy. You'll work closely with patients to understand their pharmacy benefits, document interactions, and provide expert advice to ensure they receive the best possible care. Key Responsibilities

* Respond to patient phone inquiries and address their concerns with empathy and care

  • Help patients understand their pharmacy benefits and provide expert advice to ensure they receive the best possible care
  • Document patient interactions in real-time, using expert listening skills to get to the heart of their questions quickly
  • Identify and address patient concerns, escalating issues as necessary to ensure timely resolution
  • Collaborate with patients to develop personalized care plans, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes

Essential Qualifications

* High School Diploma or GED required

  • College degree or Junior College degree with a healthcare focus preferred
  • 1 year of relevant customer care experience
  • Intermediate to Advanced PC knowledge
  • Ability to navigate multiple screens and systems
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Flexibility to work specified shifts and extended hours as necessary

Preferred Qualifications

* College or Junior College education with a healthcare focus

  • Medical Terminology training
  • Pharmacy or Benefits training
