About the Role

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing our cutting-edge AI platform. You will collaborate closely with product management to translate specifications into actionable development plans, meticulously manage integrations, and contribute directly to our codebase through hands-on implementation, code reviews, and rigorous testing. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to work on a product that impacts millions of users worldwide.##

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Managers to review and refine project specifications.
• Develop comprehensive integration plans for new features and services.
• Implement robust backend solutions using Ruby on Rails.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.
• Write and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests.
• Contribute to the architectural design and scalability of our platform.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Champion best practices in software development and agile methodologies.## Qualifications
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in backend or full-stack software engineering.
• Mandatory recent and extensive experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Proven experience working within tech scale-ups or similarly agile development environments.
• Demonstrated success in building and scaling products that cater to a large user base (thousands of monthly active users).
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with fluency in English.
