What You'll Do
As an Engineer L2, your responsibilities will include a mix of day-to-day support and project-based work. Here's a breakdown of what you can expect: Stay Informed and Assess Priorities: Keep abreast of day-to-day airline operations within your field of responsibility and assess daily priorities in line with airline and departmental objectives. Investigate and Resolve Issues: Investigate aircraft and component problems that could cause delays, cancellations, or significant expenditures, and determine appropriate corrective actions. Provide Engineering Support: Offer technical support for the disposition of discrepant conditions affecting aircraft or components to restore them to a serviceable status. Respond to Requests: Provide technical assistance to Maintenance and other departments when required to support projects or resolve problems. Develop Action Plans: Create action plans for fleet and component engineering projects and pursue final dispositions according to assessed priorities. Coordinate with Departments: Work with other airline departments to ensure the effective and efficient implementation of engineering dispositions. Prepare Engineering Documents: Develop customized procedures for repairs, modifications, inspections, or other maintenance actions that align with airline objectives. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A degree in a relevant engineering field or equivalent experience. Experience in aircraft engineering or a related field, with a focus on troubleshooting and problem-solving. Strong analytical and project management skills.
