The Role

As a Chat Operator at arenaflex, you will be responsible for engaging with customers through online conversations, responding to their inquiries, and providing solutions to their problems. Your goal will be to turn conversations into leads that help our clients generate revenue. You will be working from home, using your own computer or laptop, and will be required to attend 4 weeks of remote training to learn the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities

* Engage with customers through online conversations, responding to their inquiries and providing solutions to their problems

  • Use your gaming experience to create a fun and engaging experience for customers
  • Represent arenaflex and our automotive dealer clients favorably, providing exceptional customer service and support
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction scores
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve business objectives and improve customer experiences
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to improve customer interactions and drive business growth

Requirements

* Must live within the state of Idaho

  • Must have your own computer or laptop with a webcam, second monitor, microphone, and external mouse
  • Computer must have a minimum of 8 GB of RAM, 64-bit Operating System, and 8th Generation Intel Core (i3 equivalent or higher)
  • Quiet, dedicated work space free from distractions
  • Able to attend 4 weeks of remote training, Tuesday - Saturday between the hours of 11am-7:30pm EDT
  • Must be able to type at least 35 WPM, 40 and above is preferred
  • Gaming experience is preferred

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. communications, marketing, customer service) preferred

  • 1+ year of experience in customer service or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new systems and processes

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in the automotive industry or a related field

  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other sales and marketing tools
  • Experience with online chat platforms and customer service software
  • Strong typing skills (40+ WPM)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
