Professional Rater II (Hybrid) - Psychiatry

Washington University in St. Louis is seeking to hire two compassionate, dedicated Professional Rater IIs to join their Child & Adolescent Psychiatry team. This role involves conducting clinical interviews and EEG assessments with research participants, supporting data collection related to preteen mental health and social media use.

Responsibilities

  • Recruits, interviews, screens and schedules subjects for study per protocol
  • Documents case history, charts and test scores using PC computer systems
  • Performs in-person clinical interview sessions
  • Performs EEG assessments with research participants between the ages of 10-12 and their caregivers
  • Plans and implements study phases, day-to-day in-house and field operations and trouble shoots case processes
  • Administers/scores tests, prepares/edits progress reports and attends meetings, providing case statistical analysis
  • May participate in training of Professional Rater I
  • Monitors and orders supplies necessary for study
  • Prepares information packets for patients enrolled in study
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education
  • Basic Life Support certification must be obtained within one month of hire date
  • Basic Life Support certification (Online BLS certifications, those without a skills assessment component, are not sufficient to meet the BLS requirements)
  • Relevant Experience (1 Year)
