The Role
As a Driver Onboarding Specialist/Data Entry Clerk, you'll play a critical role in supporting our delivery professionals from sign-up to activation. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing applications, insurance, and vehicle registration documents for accuracy and eligibility
- Conducting virtual vehicle safety inspections with qualified driver-applicants (training provided)
- Communicating with delivery professionals via text, chat, and email about the status of their applications
- Ordering driver applicants' pre-employment background checks using company software
Key Responsibilities:
* Review and verify application documents for accuracy and completeness
- Conduct virtual vehicle safety inspections to ensure compliance with company standards
- Communicate effectively with delivery professionals via multiple channels
- Process and manage background checks for driver applicants
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of driver applications and status
Requirements:
* Associate's degree or above (preferred, but not required)
- 1-2 years of experience in recruiting/onboarding gig app workers or working in data entry, HR, or customer service (preferred, not required)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
- Comfortable with smartphone applications and web-based applications
- Reliable internet access and a quiet work environment
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working with gig economy platforms or delivery services
- Knowledge of data entry software and systems
- Familiarity with HR or customer service principles
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
