Key Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Responding to inbound calls from healthcare clients, providing accurate and timely information about our programs
  • Documenting details of conversations, using scripts and online reference materials to guide conversations
  • Utilizing technical systems effectively, including desktop, call center-specific phone systems, and the internet
  • Meeting department quality assurance standards and metrics, ensuring exceptional customer service
  • Educating and answering questions from customers, providing up-to-date information about our programs
  • Following protocol and applying sensitivity and discretion when handling confidential information
  • Maintaining a reliable private internet connection, with the ability to hardwire via ethernet cable

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum High School Diploma or GED
  • Healthcare-related certification
  • Previous experience as a Customer Service Representative
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in online reference materials and technical systems
  • A strong internet connection, with the ability to hardwire via ethernet cable
  • Ability to pass a language knowledge assessment

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we encourage candidates with:

  • Bilingual skills in Spanish
  • Previous government clearance
