Marketing & Communications Specialist

JOB TYPE: CONTRACT REMOTE (VIEW ALL JOBS) JOB SUMMARY: We’re looking for a creative Marketing & Communications Strategist to lead and execute comprehensive marketing and communication strategies for WIN (Women In Negotiation). This role will elevate the organization's brand and mission by leading and implementing strategic communication and marketing campaigns across multiple channels and platforms. The Marketing & Communications Strategist will engage stakeholders, leverage partnerships, and create compelling storytelling (visual and written) experiences. You’ll work closely with various teams across the organization to ensure consistent and effective communication and further the reach and impact of WIN. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Develop, lead, and implement integrated marketing and communication strategies that align with WIN’s missions and goals. Lead efforts to enhance the organization’s visibility, build trust, and grow both national and international audiences.
• Plan, execute, and oversee strategic communications and marketing campaigns across digital, print, and social media platforms. Ensure campaigns are data-driven and aligned with key organizational indicators.
• Ideate, develop, and manage engaging content that supports marketing and branding efforts. Oversee the creation of marketing collateral, digital content, and print materials.
• Develop a plan for achieving subscription and sales campaign goals in coordination with the Executive Director and establish a master calendar that outlines all campaigns.
• Foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and supporters. Actively engage in partnerships and events that promote WIN’s mission.
• Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all communication channels. Protect and enhance the organization’s brand reputation through strategic initiatives and crisis communication management.
• Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication and marketing strategies. Utilize data and analytics to make informed decisions and optimize future campaigns.
• Conduct audience and market research as needed; develop strategies based on survey analyses. / Develop and implement innovative marketing, recruiting, and retention strategies to increase sales by leveraging existing networks, conducting market analysis, and creating new business models to achieve business growth
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to promote education, advocacy, and certification initiatives. Provide leadership and support to team members to achieve organizational goals.
• Lead and manage other special projects, as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, design, or related field
• Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite or Canva), web content management systems (e.g., Squarespace), email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp or Active Campaign), and social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
• A passion for brand and educational storytelling
• Proven leadership capabilities with a proactive, self-starting attitude
• Ability to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement within the organization
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Excellent writing and editing skills for diverse audiences and purposes
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management abilities
• Creative and strategic thinker with experience in developing and implementing comprehensive marketing programs
