Job Summary

As a Medical Customer Service Representative with arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers. You will answer inbound calls, occasionally make outbound calls, and assist with medically related inquiries. You will also use computer skills for data entry, gather and review patient billing and medical information, and collaborate with carriers to ensure coverage of medication on behalf of the patient.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use computer skills for data entry and gather and review patient billing and medical information
  • Collaborate with carriers to ensure coverage of medication on behalf of the patient
  • Provide positive customer service and empathy to patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Utilize basic knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes to resolve patient inquiries

Requirements

* 1 year or more of recent call center experience (no exceptions)

  • Provide positive customer service and empathy
  • Must have High Speed Internet with modem access
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes (preferred)

* Experience working in a healthcare setting
