Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Associate to join our remote customer support team. As a key member of our contact center, you'll be responsible for responding to and resolving customer inquiries related to our banking products and services. With a focus on building strong relationships and delivering exceptional service, you'll be the primary point of contact for our customers, helping them navigate our services and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Associate, you'll be responsible for:

• Responding to and resolving customer inquiries via phone, chat, and email
• Providing professional and courteous customer support, consistently meeting or exceeding agent metric standards for calls handled, adherence to schedule, ready/not ready time, and customer satisfaction
• Learning and maintaining knowledge of deposit, loan, and digital banking services, as well as other banking products
• Partnering with other departments to reach mutually satisfactory resolutions of customer issues and identify processes or procedures that can be improved
• Providing feedback to the bank on the usability of our services based on customer interactions
• Performing general clerical duties, such as operating departmental equipment, filing, answering phones, taking messages, and handling detail work
• May be assigned other job duties and responsibilities with or without prior notice

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of one year of banking or financial services experience in a customer service role
• Previous contact center experience preferred
• Ability to work an alternate schedule, including Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 9am-8pm
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and retain customer relationships
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and maintain confidentiality
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, web browsers, and operating systems
• Ability to type with speed and accuracy, and operate standard office equipment
• Strong organizational and prioritizing skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Experience working in a highly regulated industry, with a strong understanding of banking policies and procedures
• Ability to use a personal computer with experience using Microsoft Office products, web browsers, and operating systems
• Strong time management skills, with the ability to work independently and adjust to changing schedules
• Ability to work outside of normal banking hours, including evenings and weekends
