Job Summary

As a Healthcare Data Entry Specialist, you'll play a vital role in processing various medical documents, extracting data, and entering it into our electronic database using Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word. You'll work independently and collaboratively with our team to ensure that questions are addressed, documented, and cases are returned in a timely fashion. Your critical thinking skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients will be essential in determining next steps and resolving any issues that may arise.

A Day in the Role

* Process various medical documents, including Independent Medical Reviews, and extract relevant data for entry into our electronic database.

• Work independently and in partnership with other team members to ensure that questions are addressed, documented, and cases are returned in a timely fashion.
• Use critical thinking steps to determine next steps and reach out to clients via phone to obtain missing information, etc.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word to enter data into our electronic database.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve any issues or concerns that may arise.
• Work in a metrics/quota driven environment, with a focus on meeting productivity and quality standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service and client coordination over the phone.

Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent required.

• At least 1 year of remote work experience.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection.
• Own computer or laptop (no Chromebooks) with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word installed.
• Experience in healthcare, insurance, or claims is preferred.
• Previous experience working in a metrics-based environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Schedule

* Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM EST.

• 4-6 month contract-to-hire opportunity.
