Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining excellent relationships with new and existing policy holders, resulting in increased retention levels. This role requires a proactive and reactive approach to communication, ensuring that our policy holders receive timely updates, support, and exceptional service.

Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering calls and actively listening to concerns or questions from clients, while demonstrating a desire to assist and respond with compassion.
  • Proactively contacting policy holders to provide updates on accounts.
  • Reaching out to customers who are in cancellation status, following up on terminated policies, and following up on customers who are late or in jeopardy of being late.
  • Completing daily tasks for the agency, such as but not limited to:

+ Following up on newly issued policies + Current clients who need service-related care on their policies

  • Identifying opportunities to turn dissatisfied policy holders into satisfied policy holders.
  • Collaborating with teammates to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating customer information in our database.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 1 year of customer service experience (preferred)
  • Property & Casualty License (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident, self-starter who works well independently
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Good organizational skills
  • Proficient typing and computer skills
  • Ability to effectively work with teammates to ensure seamless customer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Insurance industry or agency experience
  • Knowledge of insurance products and services
  • Experience working with CRM software
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:

  • $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
