• ** SENIOR AI AUTOMATION ENGINEER FOR INTELLIGENT “AI TOOLS SCOUT” SYSTEM (CONSTRUCTION FOCUS) We are hiring an independent, senior-level developer to build a production‑ready system of AI agents that continuously discovers, evaluates, and tracks AI tools from across the web, with a focus on usefulness for the construction industry.

## Core functionality (must have) -

Automated AI tools discovery

Continuously scan popular AI directories, listing platforms, and blogs to capture new, trending, or viral tools into a central database. -

AI-based evaluation & grading

Detect if each tool’s website is active, stable, and current, and classify it into Grade A/B/C based on quality and usefulness for construction. - ️

Construction relevance + job tagging

Determine relevance to construction use cases and automatically assign job/role tags (e.g., Project Manager, Site Engineer, Estimator). -

User activity & adoption insight

Where possible, estimate actual user/adoption signals (traffic, pricing tiers, reviews, public metrics) to prioritize tools with real usage. -

Continuous monitoring & alerts

Re-check tools on a schedule, update grades when quality changes, and flag inactive, broken, or suddenly trending tools. -

Backend, storage & simple dashboard/API

Store all data in SQL and expose a minimal dashboard or API for searching, filtering, and reviewing history of changes.

## Project milestones (high level) 1.

Milestone 1 – Requirements, architecture and Data collection & ingestion

Finalize data sources, evaluation criteria, grading rules, and design the end‑to‑end system architecture. Implement automated crawlers/flows to discover AI tools from selected platforms and store normalized records in SQL. 2.

Milestone 2 – AI evaluation grading, Construction relevance & job‑tag module

Build and integrate AI/rule-based modules that assess activity, relevance to construction, and assign Grade A/B/C. Implement LLM/logic to map tools to construction use cases and attach job/role tags to each tool. 3.

Milestone 3 – User activity & adoption signals, Data Masking

Add mechanisms to estimate or fetch usage/adoption indicators (traffic, pricing tiers, public metrics) and store them as scoring features. Setup framework to mask the collected data to avoid copyright or traceback issues. 4.

Milestone 4 – Monitoring, re‑evaluation & alerting

Set up scheduled checks to re‑score tools, detect stale/broken sites, and trigger alerts or change logs when grades shift. Integrate the data into the BI tools/ excel to help track team easily (a small internal dashboard or API for search/filtering). 5.

Milestone 5 – Final QA, polish & handoff

End‑to‑end testing, performance tuning, bug fixes, and final handover of credentials, codebase, and deployment instructions. Deliver the technical documentation, environment setup notes, and handover. (Open to adjust based on the complexity)
