SEC Technical Accounting Consultant

Our client is looking for a critical SEC Consultant through April 2026. This position will review SEC filings within Workiva. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting. The ideal candidate is available to work PST and can start IMMEDIATELY! THIS IS A TEMP ROLE. The Ideal Candidate has a CPA License. salary: $100 - $120 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Preparation of quarterly internal financial reporting presentations within 5 day close timelines
• Preparation and cross-functional coordination for all aspects of reporting responsibilities, including preparation and submission of Form 10-Q’s, Form 10-K, Form 8-K’s and special filings as required within Workiva
• Accounting for leases, investments, preparation of the statement of shareholder’s equity, statement of cashflows and segment reporting
• Preparation of the MD&A including the fluctuation analysis and non-GAAP reporting metrics
• Interface with Management on complex technical accounting and disclosure matters
• Research technical and disclosure accounting issues (utilizing Intelligize) and document and present conclusions to Management
• Proactively monitor current accounting and reporting trends, and maintain new accounting standards tracker
• Lead the Company’s efforts to implement new or revised accounting pronouncements
• Prepare, review and deliver timely accurate internal and external accounting/reporting documents and supporting schedules in accordance with US GAAP and SOX documentation requirements
• Develop and adhere to internal and external review and filing deadlines, including tracking and communication of status
• Support annual audit and quarterly reviews, including preparing analytical review documents, to ensure timely and efficient fulfillment of all requests
