The Role
As a Part-Time Data Entry Specialist, you'll play a critical role in supporting our Global Merchant and Network Services (GM&NS) Estimating team. This team is responsible for driving the single largest source of arenaflex's revenue: Trader Markdown Income. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Analyzing and reporting on dealer markdown income data to inform business decisions and drive growth
* Developing and maintaining scorecards to track performance and identify areas for improvement
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive normalization and process improvement initiatives
* Supporting external reviews and audits, including investigating issues and communicating with stakeholders
* Performing ad-hoc data analysis to identify trends and insights that inform business decisions
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* 2+ years of experience in financial services or a related field, with a strong understanding of financial concepts and principles
* A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (a master's degree is a plus)
* Advanced proficiency in Excel, with experience working with large datasets and complex financial models
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to draw insights from data and communicate findings effectively
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels
* A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* A passion for innovation and a willingness to challenge conventional approaches to drive business growth
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with data visualization tools and programming languages (e.g., SAS, SQL)
* A background in financial modeling and analysis, with experience developing complex financial models and presenting findings to stakeholders
