The Role

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative and Retention Specialist to join our team. As a Retention Specialist, you will be responsible for answering customer questions, resolving issues, and providing exceptional support to our customers. You will be the face of our brand, and your goal will be to deliver a best-in-class service experience that drives customer loyalty and retention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist and engage with customers over the phone, email, chat, and social media, providing timely and effective solutions to their queries and concerns.
  • Manage multiple customer interaction channels efficiently, prioritizing tasks and managing your time effectively to meet customer needs.
  • Proactively identify solutions to questions and issues, anticipating customer needs and providing personalized support to build long-term relationships.
  • Provide best-in-class service experience, working in a fast-paced startup environment and maintaining metrics at or above expectations, including CSAT, customer retention, daily customer interactions, and response time.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure that customer feedback and insights are incorporated into our business strategies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An associate degree or higher, with 2+ years of professional experience working with computers and web-based tools.
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service or support, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate a customer-first mentality and communicate complex issues in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box to resolve customer issues and improve processes.
  • Experience working in a remote environment, with the ability to self-motivate and manage your time effectively to meet customer needs.
  • Strong proficiency in handling customer support responsibilities over the phone, with excellent active listening and communication skills.
