Opportunity Abt Global seeks bright, talented, and intellectually curious students to participate in our summer Abternship. As a paid Total Rewards Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on industry experience while being immersed into Abt’s organizational culture. Interns will learn from some of the top experts in their respective fields while experiencing events/programs that are useful in any professional setting. Our programs will consist of a robust and structured curriculum that encompasses professional development opportunities, networking events, and a mentorship program. Interns can be remote, hybrid, or in person and can be located anywhere in the United States. This internship will begin as part-time for 10-20 hours a week April 2026 through May 2026 then turn into full-time beginning in June. The Summer Internship Program at Abt Global is 10 weeks, beginning June 1, 2026, through August 7, 2026. Interns must be able to work full time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the program. Key Roles And Responsibilities Candidate must participate in programming/seminars/meetings scheduled throughout the Abternship

  • Assist in collecting and analyzing compensation, benefits and retirement data to evaluate market trends, benchmarking, and internal equity considerations.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of total rewards structures, and pay ranges.
  • Conduct research on industry Total Rewards practices to ensure competitiveness and compliance with regulations.
  • Support the preparation of reports and presentations on compensation analysis findings for management review.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between compensation programs and organizational goals.
  • Participate in special projects related to compensation planning, including incentive programs and rewards strategies.

What We Value

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manipulate data sets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to function in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment
  • Has excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Is available to work part-time starting in April 2026 then full-time throughout the 10-week internship beginning in June 2026
  • Is eligible to work in the United States
