Job Summary
As a Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting our cloud-based data pipelines, ensuring seamless data flow and high-quality data insights. You'll work closely with our Data Science team to develop and deploy data pipelines, collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data needs, and ensure that our data infrastructure is scalable, secure, and reliable.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based data pipelines using technologies such as Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and Python
- Collaborate with Data Science team to develop and deploy data pipelines, ensuring high-quality data insights and seamless data flow
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data needs, ensuring that data infrastructure meets business requirements
- Develop and maintain automated workflows and data pipelines, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum data availability
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to improve data pipeline performance and efficiency
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience using Snowflake and PostgreSQL
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
- Strong understanding of data governance and data quality principles
- Experience with source control systems, such as GitLab or GitHub
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, such as Hadoop or Spark
- Proficiency in cloud design and deployment, with experience using AWS or similar
- Experience with Docker and containerization
- Strong understanding of data architecture and data modeling principles
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
