Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Intern
Match Group, the company behind Tinder, is dedicated to enhancing human connections. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers to design, build, and maintain systems that support Tinder's large-scale cloud operations.
Responsibilities
- Learn how Tinder manages and scales cloud infrastructure that supports millions of users
- Assist in building and automating tools that help monitor, deploy, and maintain cloud-based systems
- Work on improving system reliability, performance, and security under guidance from senior engineers
- Collaborate with engineering teams across the organization to support development and deployment workflows
- Participate in team meetings, and code reviews
Skills
- Interest in cloud computing, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure (from coursework or personal learning)
- Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Go, or Bash)
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Curiosity about infrastructure tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform (bonus if you've used them)
