[Remote] Jr. Data Engineer

The Jr. Data Engineer will be responsible for building and supporting Data Migration staging environments, supporting regulatory and business reporting, and profiling downstream data to identify anomalies and potential issues.
Responsibilities
- Building & supporting Data Migration staging environments and warehouses
- Support regulatory / business reporting
- Profile Downstream data to find anomalies and potential data issues
- Work with members of the QA group to build test cases / scenarios
- Create scripts for reporting. Peer review other’s work
Skills
- Master's in computer science or Bachelors w/ relevant experience
- Solid understanding of data structures and ETL
- Experience in Azure environments using tools like Data Pipelines, CosmosDB
- Experience with version control systems (Github, Devops, etc)
- Experience with Analytics / BI platforms such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Cognos
- Familiarity with data manipulation & analysis with Python or R
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL querying / datasets
- Passionate about information
