Entry Level Hydrogeologist
Jacobs is a company focused on solving critical problems for thriving cities and resilient environments. They are seeking an emerging Hydrogeologist to support various water resource projects, working collaboratively with experienced professionals to gain valuable experience in the field.
Responsibilities
- Performing, analyzing, and interpreting well and aquifer performance tests (i.e., variable-rate and constant-rate pumping tests)
- Lithologic sampling and description
- Groundwater sampling
- Drilling data collection and analysis
- Hydrogeologic characterization
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in geology, hydrogeology, or related field
- Understanding of lithologic classification
- Understanding of groundwater sampling
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to travel to project sites, generally within the state of Florida
