In this critical role, you will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for doors, frames, hardware, and related architectural products for residential, commercial, and government projects. • Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project requirements to identify materials, labor, and scope.
• Utilize estimation software and maintain updated records for all bid documentation.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for Division 8 products (doors, frames, and hardware) for a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and government.
• Provide value engineering suggestions to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure accuracy and competitive pricing.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and industry partners.
• Detail projects to prepare for procurement
• Participate in pre-bid meetings to gain a comprehensive understanding of project scope.
• Stay up to date with market trends, material costs, and advancements in construction technology.
• Draft detailed proposals and presentations for prospective clients.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Division 8 estimating is required.
• Experience with Pro-Tech Titan preferred.
• Strong knowledge of hollow metal doors and frames, aluminum frames, timely and wood frames as well as hardware specifications, materials, and installation processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and construction documents.
• Proficiency with estimating software and general computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Work Schedule:

• Full-Time, remote.
• Monday to Friday 7am - 3:30pm PST.

Work Location:

• Remote/ WFH
• Travel to project sites as required, with provided per diem.
