We started as a viral TikTok initiative helping students with their college essays and quickly grew into a nationwide network of relatable, high-achieving undergraduate coaches. In just a few years, we’ve been named Career Pathways Product of the Year, secured over $1.5M in venture funding, partnered with districts and nonprofits across the country, and achieved an 86% first-choice university placement rate for students we’ve coached. We were founded to give students what we wish we had—affordable, high-touch guidance from people who truly “get it” because they’ve recently been through the process themselves. At College Contact, we believe every student deserves access to quality, relatable guidance—no matter their background or budget. Our goals are to:
- Democratize access to higher education and career resources for all students.
- Give back, replacing expensive private advising with relatable, affordable mentorship.
- Help students make informed, personalized decisions—whether that’s college, a trade, the military, or another pathway.
- Equip students to earn the most scholarships and financial aid possible or choose a high-ROI career path that fits their skills and passions. As a College & Career Coach, you’ll be part of an elite network of undergraduates selected for their leadership, empathy, and expertise. You’ll guide high school students through the college admissions process, career exploration, and future planning. Your journey will look like this: Optional Opportunities:
- Host or participate in virtual workshops (earn bonuses)
- Specialize in niche topics like financial aid, career readiness, or essay writing
- Maintain at least 5 hours of open availability per week for student meetings
- Respond to messages from students or parents within 24 hours
- Report student progress, fill out surveys, and keep accurate records in our system
- Participate in continuous learning and training sessions
- $500/semester stipend (guaranteed)
- Bonuses for additional tasks, workshops, or high performance
- Opportunity for promotion to Lead Coach (train and mentor new coaches)

- Current undergraduate student (2-year or 4-year) — first-years eligible after their first semester
- Minimum 3.4 GPA
- Strong communicator with excellent speaking and writing skills
- Creative thinker with a passion for helping others
- Flexible schedule (5 open hours/week)
- Positive, self-starting, and trustworthy
- No criminal record Bonus points if you:

- Are a D1-D3 student athlete Our selection process is highly competitive — we typically accept only the top 1% of applicants at each university. We keep our standards high to protect the quality of our coaching network, but we always encourage you to reapply or request feedback to improve your application.
