A Little About Our Team
Our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team is a critical part of arenaflex's infrastructure, working closely with the CTO to ensure the availability and reliability of our systems. As a member of our SRE team, you will be responsible for guaranteeing the stability of arenaflex's products and infrastructure, working closely with other teams to identify and resolve issues. We are a collaborative and dynamic team that encourages innovation, learning, and growth.
Position Overview
We are seeking a junior engineer to join our SRE team, who is eager to develop their skills and contribute to the success of arenaflex. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Screening, identifying, and resolving issues of varying complexity
- Assisting in the setup, maintenance, and upgrade of our systems
- Developing innovative and practical solutions to resolve non-routine issues
- Developing tools to automate deployment, management, and monitoring of our systems
- Applying knowledge of system architecture, design, and troubleshooting methods
A Great Deal About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field; or equivalent industry experience
- Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
- Experience with container-based solutions like Docker
- Experience with cloud best practices and services
- Knowledge of one programming language, such as Python or JavaScript
- Ability to communicate with non-technical audiences and engineers from other areas
Preferred Capabilities
* Knowledge of one system language, such as C, C++, Go, or Rust
- Experience with TCP/IP, HTTP, application security, monitoring, and storage
- Experience with Kubernetes and container-based orchestration
