Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Senior Big Data Software Engineer to join our team of innovators. As a key member of our data analytics and cloud application development team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and secure data solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
* Lead complex projects and initiatives within the data analytics and cloud application development space
- Contribute to the development of large-scale data architectures and solutions
- Design, code, test, troubleshoot, and report on projects and initiatives related to data analytics and cloud application development
- Audit complex technical challenges that require a deep understanding of data and cloud technologies
- Resolve complex issues and lead a team to meet existing customer needs or potential new customer needs while utilizing a strong understanding of data and cloud capabilities, strategies, systems, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and communicate with colleagues, peers, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve objectives
- Lead tasks and serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Capabilities
* 3+ years of programming experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
- 3+ years of active experience with Hadoop
- 3+ years of experience with Teradata
- 3+ years of experience with MongoDB
- 3+ years of experience with AWS
- 3+ years of experience with GitHub and Bitbucket
- 3+ years of experience planning, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and recording for projects and initiatives
- 3+ years of experience with Python and Unix/Shell scripting, Scala, Flash, HBase, Oozie, Flume, and Kafka
- 3+ years of experience with Ansible
Preferred Capabilities
* Strong relational skills (verbal and written) across all hierarchical levels of technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and have a proactive mindset
- Experience in designing ETL data streams using mapping/workflows to extract data from SQL Server and Data Relocation and Change from Prophet/Access/Excel Sheets using SQL Server SSIS
- Related knowledge functioning as a Programmer at arenaflex

Compensation and Benefits
arenaflex offers a competitive salary range of $20-30/hour, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
