The Role

As an Online Chat Specialist, you'll play a critical role in providing exceptional customer support to our clients' customers. You'll be responsible for interacting with visitors on our clients' websites via our online chat software, answering their questions, and resolving any issues they may have. This is a remote position, which means you'll have the flexibility to work from anywhere, at any time, as long as you have a reliable internet connection and a laptop, phone, or tablet.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer support via online chat, responding to incoming requests for information in a timely and accurate manner

  • Demonstrate a calm and professional demeanor, even in high-pressure situations
  • Evaluate customer interactions and elevate issues to the Online Chat Manager when necessary
  • Create relationships with new customers to better understand and meet their needs
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and provide accurate information to customers
  • Collaborate with the Online Chat Manager to resolve complex issues and improve customer satisfaction

Requirements

* Basic English writing skills

  • Reliable internet connection and a laptop, phone, or tablet
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous customer service experience, either in-person or online

  • Familiarity with online chat software and customer support platforms
  • Strong knowledge of product or service offerings
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
