Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Science Undergraduate Intern to join our team for a 12-week period. As a key member of our data science community, you'll work on projects that directly impact our business, collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior leaders to drive business outcomes. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities

* 20% Business Collaboration: Participate in meetings across the data science community, gaining exposure to cross-functional teams and senior leaders. Build relationships, receive mentorship, and contribute to knowledge sharing.

• 20% Results Communication: Present findings and project status clearly and professionally through presentations, reports, and recommendations to senior leaders. Provide comprehensive updates on projects and related initiatives.
• 60% Data Analysis: Apply a wide range of data set applications and scientific tools, including SQL, Google Cloud BigQuery, and Python. Utilize critical thinking and perform data analysis for various business issues and opportunities, creating excellent analytical solutions.

• Developing and implementing data analysis solutions using SQL, Google Cloud BigQuery, and Python
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and challenges
• Creating data visualizations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to senior leaders
• Participating in meetings and discussions to share knowledge and best practices with the data science community
• Contributing to the development of data-driven insights and recommendations to inform business decisions

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you'll need to meet the following essential qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Working knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Strong academic performance and a passion for data science and analytics
