Job Responsibilities:

As an Experienced Customer Support Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Utilizing arenaflex's remedy information section strategies and rules to process new patient enrollment by entering information into the proper system.
  • Handling patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and entering refill orders for processing.
  • Investigating to obtain missing medication data, deciphering clinical abbreviations (SIG codes), and resolving any related issues.
  • Settling all information entry-related exceptions.
  • Handling correspondence with patients (inbound calls, visits, messages) and making outbound calls to prescribers and patients as necessary.
  • Resolving external issues by researching, gathering data, making amendments, and resubmitting for processing as per individual account requirements.
  • Making phone calls to guarantors and others to obtain information, gain approval, or resolve external issues.
  • Providing support to pharmacists, both those in the office and those at other locations.
  • Recognizing and escalating issues to senior-level staff as necessary.
  • Obtaining and maintaining an active professional license or certification within the first 90 days of employment.

Essential Capabilities:

* Essential level computer skills, including: + Starting and closing a computer + Using a mouse to point and click + Starting and closing programs + Switching between programs + Saving files + Printing documents + Accessing data online

  • Essential web browser skills, including:

+ Opening a browser + Typing in URLs in the correct field + Using a search engine + Bookmarking a website + Navigating using back/forward/stop buttons + Completing online forms

Preferred Capabilities:

* Experience providing customer support to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and assessing customer satisfaction.

  • Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, designing documents).
  • Familiarity with Spanish and English.
