The Unconventional, LLC (TU), a wholly owned subsidiary of Yorktown Systems Group, Inc. (YSG), provides full-spectrum Language Regional Expertise and Culture (LREC) support services including management, administration, instruction, CONUS and OCONUS immersions, role-player, and curriculum development in support of training efforts across the U.S. DoD and Intelligence Community. TU developed the The Unconventional Training-on-Request (TUTOR) Platform, an advanced, robust, ?exible, and collaborative digital platform of integrated technologies for curriculum development, online training, and education and professional development tailored speci?cally for the U.S National Security community and Security Cooperation partners. TUTOR, as our proven virtual training platform, supports the global community of Special Operations Forces (SOF), Intelligence, FAO, Security Cooperation, Psychological Operations (PSYOPS), Civil Affairs (CA), Diplomatic and Federal Law Enforcement language professionals across the ILR spectrum with Tutoring, Initial Acquisition, Sustainment, and Enhancement courses focused on Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI)/Defense Language Proficiency Tests (DLPT) prep, Foreign VIP Visitor prep, PMT prep, ADVON/PDSS prep, LET/ISO prep, and ESL/EFL. Our TUTOR platform connects our entire cohort of LREC SMEs, instructors, help desk, and administrators for 24/7 connectivity and reach-back to Command Language Program Managers (CLPMs) and their learners globally. By integrating TUTOR before and during our immersion and other LREC services, we provide our clients and their learners unequaled capability to tailor training support for domain-specific and operational proficiency training objectives, enhance student performance, and prevent proficiency drop-off. TUTOR provides Command Language Program Managers (CLPMs) and their learners the flexibility to train anytime and anywhere with on-demand LREC instruction. Our TUTOR LREC Instructors develop and deliver customized Individual Language Training Plan (ILTP) tutoring and intensive courses focused on operational and general proficiency requirements including initial acquisition, enhancement, test prep, and immersion/pre-deployment prep. TUTOR multi-media classrooms provide comprehensive Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) connectivity including laptops, tablets, smartphones, and secure scaled back Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) and telephonic classrooms.
