Job Summary

We're hiring full-time INBOUND phone customer service representatives to join our team in Waterloo, IA. As a Customer Service Specialist, you'll be responsible for building customer relationships, resolving customer challenges, and providing exceptional service to our customers. You'll work in a team-based environment with our Sales team members and use a computer and multiple computer programs to resolve customer issues.

Key Responsibilities

* Build customer relationships by responding to a high volume of INBOUND phone calls

  • Work with customers and Sales team members daily in a team-based environment
  • Use a computer and multiple computer programs with periods of sitting up to 8 hours per day
  • Resolve customers' challenges by using all resources for account selection, product identification, order placement, and order management
  • Resolve pricing and invoicing discrepancies, apply credit, and implement return procedures

Essential Qualifications

* High School diploma or equivalent

  • At least 1 year of customer service experience
  • Ability to commute to our facility from your home
  • A secure workspace at home dedicated to job activity
  • Proficiency in operating and navigating multiple PC-based programs at once
  • Stable internet with ability to provide proof of internet speeds greater than 5 megabits per second upload, 15 megabits per second download, and ping less than 80 milliseconds

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a customer-facing role

  • Knowledge of customer service software and systems
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Work Environment

* Enjoy your weekends off! We're hiring for our shift of 8:30 to 5:00 p.m. Central time and Monday through Friday

  • Our 8-week onsite training academy will provide you with the knowledge and tools you need to best serve our customers
  • After graduation, team members meeting work from home requirements will enjoy a hybrid work environment of three days onsite and two days at home (2 days working at the office and at home are your choice and can change each week based on your preference)
  • You can earn additional flexibility to work from home up to 5 days a week, and you will be eligible to participate in a bidding process for alternate work shifts
