Job Summary

As a 1st line Customer Service Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, responding to their inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional support via email and text messages. You'll work closely with our Customer Service Manager to escalate complex cases and ensure that every customer interaction is a positive one. Key Responsibilities

* Respond to customer emails, answering their questions based on provided FAQs and training

  • Escalate more complicated emails to the Customer Service Manager and send a first reply to the customers
  • Reply to text messages as per established procedures
  • Send out email notifications to verify shipping addresses and possible fraudulent orders, keeping track of replies and updating addresses in the system
  • Reach out to customers who added negative reviews to ask for more details about their experience and offer a solution in coordination with the Customer Service Manager
  • Organize and maintain email inbox in alignment with pre-set folders/tags

Essential Qualifications

* Experienced and proficient communicator with excellent written and verbal skills

  • Ability to follow guidelines with a low margin for error
  • Fluent (native or advanced) in English
  • Fast learner with a willingness to adapt to new processes and systems
  • Experience in email support, preferably in a customer-facing role
  • Proficient user of Gmail and Freshdesk
  • Familiarity with fresh tropical fruits (please, visit our website to learn more about the fruits we offer)

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment

  • Knowledge of tropical fruits and their benefits
  • Experience with CRM software and customer service tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
