How You Will Contribute: Manage the overall progress of engagements in relation to budgets and due dates of the Nonprofit Group. Review all workpapers, financial statements and tax returns before submission to manager/principal for further review. Supervise assigned staff and in charges and ensure evaluation reports are completed. Develop client relationships and look for opportunities to provide additional services. Assist in increasing the nonprofit book of business. Proactively build a referral network of bankers and professionals and seek new business opportunities. Actively mentor staff and seniors during engagements and support their learning and overall career progression. Other duties as assigned, such as special projects, including other agreed upon procedures set forth by clients. About YOU! Bachelor’s degree in accounting. CPA License required. 5+ years of experience in public accounting industry, preferably at a mid-market firm Experience running nonprofit engagements (arts, religious, membership, educational, and special needs organizations).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • CPA License required.
  • 5+ years of experience in public accounting industry, preferably at a mid-market firm
  • Experience running nonprofit engagements (arts, religious, membership, educational, and special needs organizations).
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Passion for client service and an entrepreneurial mindset
  • DAILY ACCESS TO RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION to travel to and from client locations and our office locations
  • Strong collaboration skills and desire to work as a team
