Responsibilities

As a Live Chat Agent, you'll be responsible for:

  • Engaging with customers through live chat, addressing inquiries, and providing timely, accurate information.
  • Assisting customers with product-related questions, troubleshooting issues, and resolving complaints.
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism and empathy while interacting with customers.
  • Documenting customer interactions and feedback in our customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Collaborating with team members and other departments to resolve complex issues.
  • Staying up-to-date with product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information.
  • Meeting and exceeding performance metrics, including response time, resolution time, and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Participating in training sessions and team meetings to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

To be successful as a Live Chat Agent, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in customer service is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a live chat environment.
  • Excellent written communication skills with a focus on clarity and professionalism.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Proficiency in using live chat software and customer support tools; familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
