Key Responsibilities:

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative – Aviation Industry Ground Operations Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to all passengers, ensuring a positive and memorable experience with blithequark
  • Serving as a key member of the ground operations team, working alongside other team members to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of flights
  • Handling all aspects of ground operations, including baggage handling, aircraft loading and unloading, and marshalling aircraft for departure
  • Following safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of passengers, crew, and aircraft
  • Assisting passengers with special needs and accommodations, including wheelchair assistance and unaccompanied minors
  • Maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, representing the blithequark brand and upholding its high standards of customer service
  • Communicating effectively and efficiently with team members, flight crew, and other departments to ensure a seamless travel experience for passengers
  • Proactively identifying and resolving any customer service issues or concerns, using problem-solving skills to find creative and effective solutions
  • Adhering to all company policies and regulations, including attendance, punctuality, and dress code
  • Continuously striving to improve and maintain a high level of performance, seeking feedback and implementing suggestions for improvement
  • Keeping a clean and organized work environment, including the ramp and baggage handling areas
  • Attending required training sessions and staying updated on industry and company changes, policies, and procedures
  • Complying with all security and safety regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials and securement of aircraft doors
  • Maintaining a positive attitude and promoting a teamwork-oriented culture, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in the aviation industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle safely
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in a ground operations or customer service role in the aviation industry

  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
  • Familiarity with baggage handling and aircraft loading and unloading procedures
  • Ability to speak multiple languages
  • Experience working with special needs passengers and accommodations
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
