Job Description

We are seeking a visionary Machine Learning Architect to lead the design and governance of our AI/ML ecosystem. This role is responsible for defining best practices, setting architectural standards, and guiding multiple use cases across the organization. You will collaborate with engineering, data science, and product teams to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing AI solutions. As a senior technical leader, you will shape the roadmap for LLM-powered applications, agentic systems, and traditional ML/DL models, driving innovation and operational excellence in healthcare technology.

  • Architectural Leadership: Define and enforce ML architecture standards, frameworks, and design patterns for enterprise-scale AI solutions.
  • Strategic Roadmapping: Develop long-term AI/ML strategy aligned with business objectives and emerging technologies.
  • Platform Design: Oversee the development of ML platforms, pipelines, and infrastructure for model training, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Governance & Compliance: Establish guidelines for data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, GDPR) in healthcare AI systems.
  • Multi-Use Case Guidance: Provide technical leadership across diverse AI initiatives, including LLM-powered workflows, predictive analytics, and multimodal applications.
  • Performance & Scalability: Ensure robust architecture for handling large datasets, distributed training, and real-time inference.
  • Mentorship & Enablement: Coach senior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of best practices and continuous learning.
  • Innovation & Research: Stay ahead of trends in Generative AI, agent architectures, and MLOps, and integrate them into organizational standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Engineering, or related field (Ph.D. preferred).
  • Experience: 8+ years in ML engineering or data science, with at least 3 years in an architectural or leadership role.
  • ML/DL Expertise: Deep knowledge of ML algorithms, deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow), and model optimization techniques.
  • LLM & Agentic Systems: Experience designing architectures for LLM-based applications and AI agents.
  • Data & Infrastructure: Strong understanding of distributed systems, big data platforms (Spark, Hadoop), and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Database Skills: Proficiency in SQL and PostgreSQL, plus familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate).
  • MLOps & CI/CD: Expertise in model lifecycle management, Kubernetes, and GitOps practices.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to influence technical direction and mentor cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with microservices architecture for AI solutions.
  • Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects or published research.
  • Familiarity with model governance frameworks and responsible AI principles.
  • Hands-on experience with quantization, distillation, and optimization of large-scale models.
