We are continuing to experience strong growth and are pleased to announce an immediate opening for an Inventory Analyst position that can be based in Sydney, Perth, Melbourne, or Brisbane, Australia . Candidates must reside in one of these cities. The successful candidate will report directly to the Senior Manager of Inventory Planning and will play a critical part in driving accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with overall inventory and procurement strategies. This role is primarily remote, with occasional travel to the office and limited out-of-city travel as needed, subject to change based on future business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform historical sales analysis & forecast future sales.
  • Create and maintain purchase orders throughout the lifecycle to ensure accurate supply signals.
  • Maintain inventory availability among distribution centers to meet sales requirements.
  • Maintain various inventory projection models.
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators, including forecast accuracy, fill rate, and inventory turnover.
  • Communicate with vendors and various parties within the organization to ensure timely inventory replenishment and order fulfillment.

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory planning and forecasting
  • University degree or diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or similar
  • Candidates with ASCI/ASCM Certifications an asset.
  • Strong computer competency with advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Detail-oriented, well organized, and a proven ability to multi-task.
  • Proficiency in English
  • Can work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a team.
  • Previous inventory planning and/or demand planning experience is essential.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or StockIQ is an asset.
  • Proficiency in analytical modeling and familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau will be considered a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and planning concepts
  • Comfortable collaborating remotely with global inventory, procurement, and sales teams across multiple regions and time zones.
  • A reliable internet connection is required when working remotely.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong, proactive communication skills are critical for success in this role.
