Your Key Responsibilities

  • Identify appropriate modeling techniques to answer critical business questions and provide insights to support clients' decision-making processes
  • Apply various data management and visualization techniques to provide insight into complex data sets
  • Develop and apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques for classification, prediction, recommendation, clustering, forecasting, and optimization
  • Contribute to presentations of modeling results and project proposals to clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that drive business growth and innovation

Skills and Attributes for Success To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong communication, presentation, and technical writing skills in English for both technical and business audiences

Essential Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you must have:

  • Excellent academic background, including a BSc or MSc degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Engineering, Operational Research, Computer Science, or a related field with a strong quantitative focus
  • 1-2 years of professional or research experience in machine learning, data analytics, or a related field, with proficiency in tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, pandas, and caret
  • Coding and software engineering skills in mainstream programming languages, such as Python or Go
  • Experience with statistical packages for data manipulation and development of predictive and prescriptive models, such as R, SAS, or SPSS
  • Data analysis and manipulation skills using SQL, Spark, or other big data technologies
